The perspective is the key determining factor for philanthropy Your editorial,” Death and US taxes” Financial Times July 2,2006 made very interesting and educative reading but the perspective is the key determining factor for philanthropy. There is a range of circles for a person’s vision, starting from self, immediate family,community,city,country and at the further end humanity at large. People focusing self and immediate family are the least of human being and those few encompassing all the circles of perspective like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet at the top ladder of humanity. Buffet has said it all in his vision statement,” I have left enough for my children to do anything but not enough to do nothing” If we could have more people, particularly with tons of money with this kind of vision, ours can be much better world.
