The Rotary Club of Plymouth-Foothills successfully concluded its Thursday night Community Market event. For seven weeks, residents of the Plymouth area enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the local market and helped contribute to worthwhile Rotary county projects. From the market proceeds the Rotary Club presented a check for $1,000 to the Plymouth Elementary School PEP Club to help support the science camp. The club also contributed $200 to the Amador Farmers' Market for their assistance in organizing the market, and $100 to the Interfaith Food Bank in the name of the musicians who contributed their talents each Thursday night. According to Rotarian Jim Gullett, next year's community market will be bigger and better than ever.
