WorldBridge Partners Expands California Presence, Merges with the Maxson Group

Sacramento, CA - February 14, 2008 – Executive search firm WorldBridge Partners is pleased to announce the successful completion of a merger with the Maxson Group, a retained executive search firm based in Sacramento, CA. The combined new entity will operate under the name WorldBridge Partners of California. As a result of the merger, Maxson Group co-founder Geof Lambert will join the Roseville, California office of WorldBridge Partners. Lambert will focus his efforts on expanding the newly merged firm’s number of retained executive search engagements.

As co-founder of the Maxson Group, Lambert has recruited chief level officers and other functional leadership for companies in Northern California across a broad base of industries. Lambert has also assisted venture capital firms in identifying senior leaders and advisors who could help position their portfolio companies for growth. Lambert’s career in executive search also includes senior positions at Terry M. Purvis Co., Allen Austin and the Solaris Group.

In addition to his professional work, Lambert has been active globally in many facets of bridging the global Digital Divide, including serving as a Forum Leader with the global IPv6 Forum working on the world’s transition to the next generation Internet protocol.

Lambert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University with a major in Marketing from the Walter J. Whitman School of Management.

Maxson Group co-founder, Gillian Parrillo, a former Fortune 1000 executive, will assist WorldBridge Partners with special projects in the future. Parrillo founded and runs local collaboration groups, Sacramento Executive and SacWomen. She also continues her work as an angel investor and adviser to several local startups as well as undertaking philanthropy engagements under the auspices of Dallas Social Venture Partners.
