Starting Rotary in Oman

We are in the process of starting the first Rotary Club in the Sultanate of Oman.

Currently Rotary has no presence in Oman, but there must be quite a few "Rotarians in exile" (like myself) in Oman, that would be interested in joining. I recently started trying to use networking sites like LinkedIn & Wikispaces to attract the attention of those Rotarians (and other interested parties),so far with reasonable first success.

Great effort and initiative Henk! Let's DIGG this article and see if we can perhaps get some interest from around the world. Please keep us posted on your progress. Can you perhaps attach some photos from Oman and/or some potential places to conduct Rotary meetings?
