I have a story to share...

Our Rotary Club had its family summer outing last May 2005 at Canyonwoods in Tagaytay City...having kids there, my kids join the activities for children and gain friends among my members' kids..

A 10 year old boy (cousin of Past Dir. Mike Lee's twin) asked me, what do you guys doing in Rotary? Instead me answering, one of the twin replied, "They do many things, they give free clinics, they feed malnourished children, they have scholars.." Then the boy replied, "Wow, youre great! How could you do that?" I said, "Well, they contribute money and goods together, ask help from friends and sponsors for donations, volunteering their time and effort, give dolllars to the foundation.." His eyes grew big...."Your dad gave dollars?" The twin said yes! We are Paul Harris Fellows."

I seconded, "They are! They were PHF when they were still babies....I was there to witness that confirmation and that contribution was used for a Matching Grant project that doubles the amount and help more people in the world."

His eyes roll again and again, and keep on saying "WOW, YOURE GREAT! WOW, YOURE GREAT!!Ok, let's eat...Great people"
