What is Food Train?

It is a program which provides accredited courses in commercial food preparation to 3 schools at a time. The course is now receognised by the Technical Education Department of Philippines and all students who successfully complete the course receive a diploma which will give them the opportunity to get work in resorts etc.

The aims of the Food Train are

To untilise buildings we construct or reburbish under our School Yard Blitz Program To install and equip a commercial teaching kitchen in each school To provide fully accredited programs to out of work youth, disadvantaged women and 5th - 6th grade children To feed more malnourished children with the food prepared during each 3 month course. To establish self funding kitchen classes at each school to continue to fund the program going into the future. The current situation
