 The Rotary Club of Polomolok 101 Rotarians took a leave from their work on Thursday, September 14, 2006 to welcome District 3860 Governor Jun Almeda who was completing a leg of visits to Zone 3A clubs. Thirteen out of twenty members showed up at the forum held at Dolores Farms, along National Highway, Polomolok. Club F'lomlok 101 (the club's monicker) having just turned one year old on August 31, its members enthusiastically threw queries which the governor adeptly answered. He also gave insightful messages which were well-received by the Rotarians. Lunch followed after adjournment of the open forum. The governor expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and high hopes for the young club. He likewise congratulated the club for the impressive turn out of attendees despite it being a regular workday. |
