Welcome to Explosion of Ogle.

You may be wondering at this point, who is this ‘Ogle’, and why is he exploding. Well, I’m Scott Ogle, a senior at Loveland High School, an occasional raconteur, a musician, and a guy who is trying to get a scholarship to live in Europe for a year (”taking a year off school to go to school,” as my friend Mike would put it).

“Explosion of Ogle” is the name of this blog because, quite frankly, the domain for my name and every reasonable variant thereof was taken(including pseudonyms–goodbye HST…). So alas, I settled upon “Explosion of Ogle” because I thought it sounded neat and resonated the idea of spilling my thoughts, rants and tirades regarding the Rotary Youth Exchange Program well.

This whole endeavor is really more for my own amusement than anyone else’s, but I’m putting it out there for anyone who knows how to use google to read anyway. Maybe this will hold me accountable to posting every week or so. Or maybe I’ll become an internet rock god like Robert Scoble. In any case, I’ll try extra hard to post at least once a week, keeping everyone informed about the application process. _____

Thanks for sharing Scott!
