The Monkey King

Today, it is so good to share our feelings for quite sometime and talked about the Monkey King 孫悟空in the story “Go West” 西遊記

Why the Monkey King was so powerful ?

My feelings are that he had at least three skills: (1) 72 變 – 72 changes to protect himself and to achieve his goals (2) 金睛火眼 – Sharp eyes of him to see the real nature of people, monsters or things (3) 拔出毫毛變出其他孫悟空 Copying - he can copy himself as many many Monkey King

In our real life, can we do the same ?

We have to change our identities and roles all the times.

At home, our role will be husband or wife, boy friend or girl friend of our love, Father or Mother of our kids and at the same time we are the son/daughter of our parents.

At work, we are the junior staff of our supervisor and we are the supervisor of our junior staff.

We are the buyers (service receiver) of some clients and we are the sellers (service provider) of some other clients.

We got to learn how to change.

If we know more about how to change more and better, it will be easlier for us to achieve our goals.

But, how to change ?

STOP – stop for a moment no matter how rush the task is, LOOK – what is the crux of the issues, CHOOSE – the best possible solutions, and ACTION – 100% effort to go for the solutions

In fact, you have changed a lot already and is still learning how to change for a better life.
