Here....if a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a video clip worth? Click here below to see the "online bulletin" of the first Rotary Club of Gold River exploratory meeting. This was a historic meeting for what appears to be the world of Rotary's newest Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Gold River. This meeting just recently took place, and already a complete graphic image recap of the meeting is available in video and picture imaging. It is my hope that rather than go through the expense and the process of building and maintaining a website from scratch, and printing paper bulletins, etc. that the Rotary Club of Gold River will pioneer the concept of embracing new Internet video technology and use video clips as one of the building blocks of their internal and EXTERNAL communications. One billion people around the world have access to this information in an area that is known to many Rotarians around the world! If anybody out there would like to learn how to embrace this very basic, simple, easy, and basically "free to use" technology, or if you'd like to submit an article about your club or any of your projects, let me know! PS Make sure you have your SPEAKERS ON! And to see the videos make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime available from www.Apple.com for free, and the best browser to use to view for a number of different reasons is Mozilla Firefox, available for free from www.mozilla.com , if you'd like to try this technology for yourself, you can go here Click to Open Web Page Digaria is free and open to the public, if you'd like to join the community go to www.Digaria.com -- geof lambert, p.916.852.6769 GOOGLE: geof lambert geof.lambert@gmail.com President Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Chairman International Fellowship of Digital Technology Rotarians Digaria - Rotarians Around the World www.digaria.com Member ROTI ICUFR |
