Rotary Membership Death Moves and Power Moves

I am creating a self-assessment checklist that clubs can use to quickly evaluate each stage of the member experience. With this checklist, club leaders will be able to prioritize which areas to work on first to help them get immediate and relevant impact.

I am not looking for personal transformation stories per se. I am looking for the actions clubs take that make a difference in member experience, from the time they think about joining, to induction, to getting involved to keeping members engaged. For example, what are best and worst practices for club websites? (Death Move #1 is not having a website) Club operations? New member mentoring? Attracting younger members?

What are your ideas? Anyone who submits a Power Move or Death move will get an email copy of the final checklist.

thanks for the post, I'll check that out! Certainly, there is much more getting done that is not noted and it benefits all to be more aware -- great work!

An excellent Article Greg. As a Moderator and promoter for Digaria.com I am of course a little bias when I say that one of the power moves options, Rotary clubs have to attract younger members is absolutely, to make them selves more visible online. Digaria is an effort in that direction and I am happy and thankful that you are already making use of the powerful tool Digaria.com can be for any rotary club or project. Keep up the good work, spread the word about Digaria.com Thank you for being an active member. Magnus G. Moderator Digaria.com
