In order to obtain official status as a Rotary Fellowship, three countries must be represented in the governance of the organization.

I am looking for Rotarians around the world that have an interest in surfing and would be willing to help establish this fellowship.

If you are simply interested in becoming a member of the fellowship, please respond with your contact information and I'll do my best to keep you informed of S.U.R.F.'s progress.

Beyond enjoying the sport of riding waves with other Rotarians around the world, I envision the fellowship as a vehicle for positive change in the various communities where service opportunities present themselves. It may also be possible to function as liason between existing effective ocean minded organizations and Rotary International.

Yes, I would be interested. Our club meets in a beach town and I am a year round surfing enthusiast! (Our winters are quite cold!) But I would love to host some traveling rotarians. I have extra boards (both short and long) and would be happy to share. Jamie
